The tourist seasons in Phuket
Due to external factors the number of tourists in Phuket fluctuates during the year. The rental prices for real estate from mini-hotels to villas, therefore, differ too.
Due to external factors the number of tourists in Phuket fluctuates during the year. The rental prices for real estate from mini-hotels to villas, therefore, differ too. Three seasons can be conditionally distinguished: peak season, high season and low season. Why conditionally? Because there is no unified system of pricing to the fixed vacation periods. Let’s take a closer look at each season.
Peak season
This is the period with the highest number of tourists in Phuket. It’s usually the dates which coincide with New Year or Christmas, i.e. December and January, for the owners of villas. The highest prices are from December 20 to January 15. As to condominiums or hotels, the situation is a little more complicated here since the prices are altered weekly from December to the end of February.
High season
As practice shows the following periods can be referred to the high season: from October 20 to January 10 and from February 20 to the end of April.
Low season
Respectively, the whole part of the year from May 1 to October is the period with the lowest prices not only for residential rent but also for cars, various excursions, even prices in markets, restaurants, SPA and massage parlours are reduced.
As you could have already seen, we give prices for all three seasons, daily and monthly rent. To determine a final cost of the rent at your dates, please contact our managers to get an individual consultation.
