pool deck
Baan Mayom features the most private pool of all the villas. Elevated and embedded into the heights of the surrounding jungle, the half moon infinity swimming pool includes a drop from its edge down to nothing but the Thai jungle, as well as unobstructed views over to the surrounding mountains.
living space
The living room and open-plan kitchen on the top floor are semi-detached from the master bedroom, but both the living room area and the master bedroom feature views of the infinity pool and over to the northwest mountains. This villa’s top floor is the perfect off-peak escape for a couple on their honeymoon.
Open up one of three huge floor-to-ceiling sliding doors from the living room and walk across the floating cement stepping stones that break the main pool to form a smaller wading area. These huge sliding doors provide magnificent unobstructed views of the pool, the surrounding jungle and the mountains. Watch the sun come up with breakfast by the kitchen or say goodnight over a cocktail relaxing on a sun bed by the pool.
master bedroom
Made up of a queen-sized bed and a separate office area, this villa’s master bedroom on the top floor has huge floor-to -ceiling sliding glass doors that allow the outdoors in, and includes a beautifully appointed twin basin en suite bathroom with an exceptional outdoor bathtub and outdoor twin showers. Draw a bath in this stunning enclosed area and open the sliding doors next to the tub to admire the dense jungle foliage on the other side. Relax and listen to the native birdlife singing from the trees above this hillside retreat.
private suites
The two downstairs bedrooms might be on the ground floor, but they are none-the-less elevated and sit in the tree-tops of the surrounding jungle. The first room on this level is the only king size bed available at The Coolwater and includes a magnificent en suite bathroom, with a large bathtub and two outdoor showers. Relax here and enjoy a bath with the jungle almost touching your toes. A private balcony for evening cocktails is another highlight of this surprising second bedroom, which is decorated in a bronze theme with Thai artwork, and includes a large day bed and plenty of wardrobe space.
The third bedroom has a queen-size bed, plenty of space and an en suite bathroom with a dual basin and separate shower. Decorated in pinks and burnt orange, this bedroom includes another private balcony space, closely surrounded by the jungle outdoors. Private and the perfect getaway from an upstairs party, the ground floor of this villa makes a perfect space for a second and third couple, or up to five children.
